Federico García Lorca, spanish poet (1898-1936)

In the early days of the Spanish civil war (1936-1939), García Lorca, the most distinguished Spanish poet of the twentieth century, was murdered by General Franco’s militia. The paintings show imaginary scenes referring to García Lorca’s tragic end. They were conceived as homage to Federico.
